Anxiety:
Do you find yourself constantly worried something awful might happen? Are your thoughts keeping you up at night? Do you feel on edge or overwhelmed? If this sounds like you, it might be possible that you’re experiencing anxiety. I’m here to tell you you’re not alone. We all experience anxiety from time to time. Anxiety becomes a problem when you can’t stop ruminating over the same thoughts. You feel like it’s taken hold of your life where you can’t function like you usually would. Together, we’ll challenge those anxious thoughts and work towards alleviating the impact anxiety has on both the body and the mind.
Caregivers:
Are you a caregiver for a loved one with a progressive illness such as Alzheimer’s Dementia or Parkinson’s’? Do you feel overwhelmed by the responsibility that comes with this role? If you feel like you are experiencing fatigue or burn-out from this role, look no further. I can provide you with the support you need so that you remember to take care of yourself. You can’t pour from an empty cup, so why not set some time aside for yourself to talk about your stress and the coping skills you will need to keep moving forward?
Depression:
Depression is one of the most common mental disorders in the United States. There are many symptoms of depression which include a persistent feeling of sadness, loss of interest in activities, inattention, and changes to your eating/sleeping habits, to name a few. Depression may feel like a losing battle, but I assure you, it doesn’t have to be that way. You and I will work on reframing negative thinking patterns and discuss lifestyle changes needed to combat depression. Building a network of support is imperative for healing from depression, so let me be the first support in place for you.
